 New Courses For 2010

TWO OVER ONE COURSE: begins Monday, January 25th at the CSC.  The course will be from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM and will run for 9 weeks (excluding Feb 8 and March 15) and conclude on April 5.  The fee is $90 including the text, Two Over One in a Nutshell.  Minimum of 16 students required.  Instructor: Mary Townhill, 359-7640, maryt915@aol.com.  Call or e-mail Mary to register or get more information.

 

PLAY OF THE HAND COURSE: begins Thursday, February 4th at the CSC.  The course will be from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM and will run for 9 weeks ending on April 1st.  The fee is $90 including the text, Play of the Hand in the 21st Century.   Minimum of 16 students required.  This is the second course in the ACBL series. CUE BID COURSE: begins Thursday, February 4th at the CSC.  The course will be from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM and will run for 9 weeks ending on April 1st.  The fee is $90 including the handouts.  Course material to be covered includes: Cue bid as a limit raise; Cue bid = Unusual over Unusual; Western Cue bid; Cue bid showing controls; Michaels cue bid & Unusual NT; Cue bid Stayman (Lebensohl); NT cue bid; Natural cue bid; and Strong cue bid.  Minimum of 10 students required.  Instructor: George Nichols, 788.4517.  Call George to register or get more information.  Or contact by email: gnichols14@sc.rr.com

Grand National Teams, GNT, starts Jan 30. 10 AM. ALL day, so bring a sandwich. Next GNT event is March 20.
